5 Questions to be asked on Judgment Day

Image
To create a good society the very important thing is the sense of accountability because human nature inclines towards the fitna when there is no system of accountability. Islam tells us that we are not free for our actions that whatever we want we do it without fear of question. We are accountable for our deeds and whatever we do we have to give the answer of it in the court of our creator. Those who do the good deeds will enter Jannah and those who do the bad deeds face the punishment on the  Day of Judgment . There will be few critical questions a person has to answer them as one Hadees says: عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ  ‏  ’’ ‏ لاَ تَزُولُ قَدَمَا ابْنِ آدَمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّهِ حَتَّى يُسْأَلَ عَنْ خَمْسٍ عَنْ عُمْرِهِ فِيمَا أَفْنَاهُ وَعَنْ شَبَابِهِ فِيمَا أَبْلاَهُ وَمَالِهِ مِنْ أَيْنَ اكْتَسَبَهُ وَفِيمَ أَنْفَقَهُ وَمَاذَا عَمِلَ فِيمَا عَلِمَ ‏ ‏ ‘‘ Ibn Mas'ud narrated that the Messenger of Allah...

Manners of Visiting Masjid

Image
Masjid is a sacred place where Muslims offer prayers and do other worships to attain the pleasure of Allah  عَزَّ وَجَلَّ .It is a respectful place and it is said in a Hadees that  Masjid is a house of Allah   عَزَّ وَجَلَّ . We go to Masjid to offer our Salah we should learn the  manners of visiting Masjid  because if we don’t learn these manners it is possible we go for earning reward but instead of reward we come back with sins.  The Masjid shouldn’t echo with sounds of ‘what’ ‘oi’, and noise of laughter, this is impermissible. Remember, even a Mu’takif is not allowed to speak about worldly matters unnecessarily. Sayyiduna Hasan Basri  رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ   has narrated that the Rasool of Rahmah, the Intercessor of Ummah  صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ   has said: يَأۡتِيۡ عَلَي النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يَكُوۡنُ حَدِيۡثُهُمۡ   فِيۡ مَسَاجِدِ هِمۡ فِيۡ اَمۡرِ دُنۡيَاهُمۡ فَلا تُجَالِسُوۡهُمۡ فَلَيۡسَ لِلّ...

Rights of Neighbors

Image
Neighbor is a word everyone is aware of it but this is not just a word but a relation which has big importance. This relation has so much importance that Allah  عَزَّ وَجَلَّ  ordered us to be good to our neighbors and beloved Rasool  صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ  also emphasized the importance of this relation. This is a problem in a  modern society  that we are so busy in our life we even don’t know our neighbors. Nowadays our relations are not in a real world rather we are only connected on social media and this connection is only a like button we push or an Emoji we send. Islam teaches us the responsibilities regarding our neighbors. In one blessed saying beloved Rasool  صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ  said: "Jibra'il kept enjoining good treatment of neighbors until I thought he would make neighbors heirs." My dear brothers what is our situation? We don’t care about our neighbors and don’t think it...
